We discussed after the tour about developing a multi sensory tour with the school for the blind.
Ideas included bringing objects, smells and sounds etc on the tour of the house eg sounds of clock ticking, billiards, smell of cigars, herbs, a Lilly, eating a sugar lump, mint, touching a hair brush, soot, ring of a bell. Could we ask the tour to describe a sensory map after the tour, could we relate this to pictures of the rooms, record their descriptions.
